Owned by Beverley Stretton BSYA. Hom. Ad Dip Herb. IIHHT Natural therapies complement conventional treatment It appears that several of us have problems with our pets that conventional veterinary treatment does not appear to help, the idea of complementary therapy is often taken on board when owners and their vets are at their wits’ end to know what to do with a beloved pet’s ailment. Holistic approach l do not want to alienate myself from the veterinary profession – my aim is to work alongside vets so in December 2005 l qualified as a homoeopathic practitioner. To further my profile, l studied and received a diploma in Animal Holistic Healing, which covered many topics from animal behaviour, gentle touch therapy, communication, foods and even how even surroundings can cause stress related illnesses. Carrying on with further studies and gained another 2 diplomas including an advanced diploma in Herbs I am now recognized by my college as a success and have been sourced by various animal related publications around the UK to explain how complementary health care can help our pets. Many pets who come to me have already undergone months or even years of orthodox treatment and medicine and have not made any real progress or recovery at all, these have varied from arthritis in joints after offering a massage the problem has started to go away. Other pets including horse's have been brought to me with problems such as blocked nasal passages, kennel cough, hormonal disorders with breeding concerns including false pregnancies in dogs which l have treated successfully. When it comes to my products I will always say Many of these 100's of people were not only impressed with the products but became my first customers and through this many of them have told their friends & family members about my products. There are no banned ingredients used in any of the products used. In 2008 the Pad Treatment was launched onto the market for dogs suffering from hard skin on their paws, these treatments are so popular for most skin conditions such as mange, warts, and fungi infections to pain relief from ligament damage to joint pain. In 2009 the shampoo's - these shampoo's are easy to use on cats, dogs, horse's, or even for human use. They have very little salt added so will not foam like many other shampoo's making life easier when it comes to rinsing your pet In 2010 a new kind of way to de flea your dog, another ointment was launched this time to just stroke onto the neck of your dog or rub a small amount onto their feet again 2011 has been a busy year trying new horse oils and other cooling agents that not only cools your horse yet acts as a fly repellent also. These products have been tried through 2 of my stockists whom l thank very much are: Golding's feeds in Cambridgeshire gave samples to Stacey Nichols Fawcetts pet shop in Doncaster gave samples to race horse breeders in Doncaster.
I make a juniper pad treatment to first soften any hard or dry skin on the dog’s pad, adding juniper essential oils to help relieve any pain or discomfort from arthritis and muscle strain. The dog pad treatment, which is very gentle, can be rubbed into the tips of a dog’s ear if the dog does not wish his feet to be touched.”my pad treatments can also be stroked onto your dog as the essential oils will travel the hair follicle into the skin naturally. Juniper relaxes the whole body and mind. Juniper pad treatment is also very good for hot spots, will clear up any red patches on the skin, whether a small patch or the whole of the body, and will help your dog to relax from any anxiety. It helps to clear the liver and any excess fluid around an injury as well as cutting down any bruising from ligament damage. As more people are made aware of the fact there are many treatments for their animals, it will become more popular to treat pets naturally, without side-effects, using remedies such as Homoeopathy remedies or massage However, it is important to remember that complementary therapies are not instead of visiting your vet but, by working together, the pet can make a faster recovery. Some of My Success Stories Since 2008 l have been recommended by many dog rescue centres around the UK such as Cefni German Shepherd, Lincolnshire, Trent & Essex Boxer rescue and other large well known companies like the Natural dog food company, K9 Bridles and many others, whether in the food industry or other animal professionals, as they have seen the results from my work for themselves.
